For neurodivergent learners, the challenge often isn’t ability - it’s the method.

Children with dyslexia, ADHD, and autism deserve a reading approach that supports their learning needs. With the right method, reading can become a skill, not a struggle.

  • Who are the Reading Skills workbooks made for?
The workbooks are designed for children with dyslexia or other special educational needs, however the teaching method benefits all learners.
  • What age-group can use the workbooks?
There is no age-limit to the workbooks. They are designed to look appropriate for older readers who need foundational practice.
  • Can I use the workbooks with my child, even if I have no teaching experience?
Of course! There are clear instructions for each activity along with a pronunciation guide. The workbooks contain audio guides with tips and there is on-demand support available on the website. For more personalised support tailored to your child, you may wish to book a private session.
  • Why are workbooks 1, 2 and 3 sold in a bundle?
Each workbook introduces learners to new letters and sounds which are practiced in stages to reduce the cognitive load. The workbooks are designed to follow on from each other, with consolidation activities to maintain progress. Workbook 1 begins with easy two sound words (up, on, at) and workbook 3 concludes with tricky three sound words (sharp, cord, perch).
  • Is delivery free?
Yes! The workbooks will be delivered free of charge.
  • Which workbook should my child start with?
It's best to start with workbook 1, as children need to have a solid understanding of all letter sounds in order to read complex words fluently!
  • Can I reach out for help with the activities?
Absolutely! Send an email to info@pictureprogress.com, I'm always here to help. Also - feel free to listen to the audio guides on the support page of the website.
