Why are workbooks 1, 2 and 3 sold in a bundle?Each workbook introduces learners to new letters and sounds which are practiced in stages to reduce the cognitive load. The workbooks are designed to follow on from each other, with consolidation activities to maintain progress. Workbook 1 begins with easy two sound words (up, on, at) and workbook 3 concludes with tricky three sound words (sharp, cord, perch).

Which workbook should my child start with?It's best to start with workbook 1, as children need to have a solid understanding of all letter sounds in order to read complex words fluently!
